VTCT Skills Excellence Awards 2025 – Terms and conditions

Nominators are responsible for ensuring that any personal data that is contained within the evidence must abide by the General Data Protection Regulation requirements.

Nominations must relate to the 2024-25 or 2025-26 academic year, ie, a learner or apprentice must have been studying a VTCT Skills or iTEC qualification during the 2024-25 year or currently studying in the 2025-26 academic year.

A school/ college/training provider nomination must relate to initiatives or work carried out during the above academic years.

Nominations are relevant for schools/colleges/training providers/learners or apprentices/teachers/tutors in the UK or Ireland only.

Learners must be registered on the VTCT Skills / iTEC portal. Centres must be VTCT Skills / iTEC approved.

Apprentices must be completing an apprenticeship with VTCT Skills as the End-point Assessment organisation.

Please note that a maximum of one nomination will be accepted for each individual or establishment. Any duplicate or multiple nominations received for the same party may be voided or deleted without notice.

Centres can enter in more than one category. Previous winners will not be eligible to receive the award again for the duration of 3 years after their win. 

Nomination submissions will only be accepted if all published criteria are met. Failure to meet any of the defined criteria will result in the disqualification of the nomination. By submitting a nomination, the entrant confirms they have read, understood, and complied with all criteria and rules.

Please note that shortlisted applicants will be required to submit a short video to be played at the awards ceremony.
